Guys let's talk about an issue which many people will otherwise shun and not talk about: Let's face the fact - Game rigging is rife in our football society. Just like corruption is investigated among people in both high profiles and low profiles. Game rigging is corruption in the football arena.
In one of the games where FCIA was playing, a referee simply blew a whistle when FCIA goalie handled the ball well within his 18 yard cushion. This was neither indirect free-kick nor penalty. When queried as to why the whistle he himself said that he mistakenly blew the whistle calling for a penalty, but because referee's decision is final, the penalty was taken resulting in a scrape-through win of the opponents over FCIA.
In the professional football arena I will not mention referal errors which resulted in controversial match results which, after being challenged, though the sports organisations apologised, results remained unchanged to the demise of the club such as victimised by such results.
Should we continue with the saying that: A Referee's decision is final, seeing they are the ones who have been accused and sometimes litigated for rigging games?
Please bear in mind the fact that it is still remaining a room that our soccer must grow.
